Run, walk or crawl through this 3 mile underground cave challenge sponsored by the Missouri Juvenile Justice Association whose mission is promoting justice for children, youth and families. Proceeds for this race will go toward the creation of higher education scholarships for at-risk youth who have been in the Juvenile Justice System. Your skills and endurance will be challenged as you attempt to forge through an almost entirely sand surface-wet, dry, deep and shallow areas while encountering natural obstacles within a cave. Be prepared to climb, jump or wade your way through! The sand mine is a cool 56 degrees, with 30-40 foot ceilings, sand dunes, and a large underground lake. After the race, you can choose to do a polar bear plunge into the lake, so you'll be #freezin4areason! More information on our website.
